Purpose
The mission of Women's Network is to foster personal and professional growth of its members and to support and develop leadership roles at the local, state and national levels through networking and programming.
Ways to Get Involved
Monthly Meetings
Women's Network meets monthly, usually at noon on the third Tuesday of the
month. At the monthly meetings, members network, enjoy a fabulous lunch
and are presented with a program from a variety of presenters. Past programs
have included personal finance, business topics, home & garden, as well as
information about local groups or activities. The greatest benefit of the
meetings is networking. At the monthly meetings, women share ideas and
contacts with each other. The meetings also allow an opportunity for members
to get to know one other, learn about our community and challenge themselves
by learning something new.
WN Committees
Each member is encouraged to volunteer for one of the Women's Network Committees as another way to
network, provide ideas and insights from the members' perspective as well
as a way to foster the growth of the Women's Network. Committees include
programs, membership, mentoring, and scholarship.
Sponsorship of Programs
Each meeting is sponsored by a business or individual. During the meeting,
the sponsor is given an opportunity to talk about their business or
organization. This is a great marketing tool.
Group Activities
Women's Network has formed teams in the Relay For Life, Adopted a garden spot
along the Stinson Creek Trail, raised and presented donations to worthy
organizations. Members are always looking for an opportunity to give back
to our community.Who Can Join?
