Health Care in Callaway County is anchored around Callaway Community Hospital, a 49-bed acute care facility.  Callaway Community Hospital offers 24-hour emergency care, surgical services, obstetric delivery rooms and primary medical care.  Diagnostic imaging, respiratory therapy, skilled nursing and community health services are also available.

Callaway Community Hospital's Rural Health Clinic, located across the street from the hospital, provides cataract surgery, diabetes counseling, pain management and walk-in family medical services.
