Dr. Seuss Wants You
National Churchill Museum7th and Westminster, Fulton
Bases on the book "Dr. Suess Goes to War" by historian Richard H. Minear, this exhibit discusses Dr. Suess before he became an international sensation with his children's books. Theodor Suess Geisel (Dr. Suess) wrote over 400 editorial cartoons focusing on the concerns that America needed to address while WWII engulfed the world. He demonstrated in simple truth how individuals must become aware, informed, and involved in their surroundings to take thoughtful and decisive action. Dr. Suess Wants You is an exhibit created and toured by the Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education.
